SAS Architectural Fabrication's extruded aluminum sun control devices are fabricated from a typical profile or custom to meet your design and application requirements. Depending on the infill (airfoils, "z" blades, flat tube, etc.) and it's spacing and angle, our sun controls can greatly reduce the sun's heat and help with energy conservation.

SAS Architectural Fabrication's sales group (along with its design and engineering dept.) is eager to assist and help provide a quality, cost effective solution for any sun control project. We have in-house designers who work with Architects to create good "green" design. We then provide support throughout the production and installation process. Whether welded or mechanically fastened, our sun control devices are designed and fabricated by professionals who've dedicated years to their craft.
We provide many services with our own forces, including design and VALUE ENGINEERING, fabrication (welded or mechanically fastened), maintained communication with the onsite super., and on time problem free installations. Our design and engineering dept in particular, has a reputation in the industry for their capabilities and quality workmanship, and they excel at a variety of forming techniques including architectural aluminum sun controls of all types. These in-house capabilities allow SAS Architectural Fabrication to respond quickly to any challenge presented.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
SAS Architectural Fabrication's project management department offers expertise and a wealth of experience that has contributed to a rich history of satisfied clients. Our project managers are involved with the day-to-day events and communicate effectively with the entire project development team— ensuring that the project maintains the established schedule and budget and that all information flows smoothly. A comprehensive monthly report is provided to our clients in an effort to effectively communicate the status of their project.
FINISH OPTIONS:
Mill Finish: standard extruded aluminum with welds or fasteners neatly finished
Anodize: Clear, Bronze, Champagne
Powder Coat: Sun controls shall be cleaned, pretreated and Finished-after-assembly with an oven-cured thermosetting acrylic enamel finish that meets or exceeds the performance requirements of AAMA 2603, “Voluntary Specification Performance Requirements and Test Procedures for Pigmented Organic Coatings.”
2-COAT FLUOROPOLYMER: Sun controls shall be cleaned, pretreated and Finished-after-assembly with an inhibitive primer and oven-cured Kynar 500®/Hylar 5000® resin coating with minimum 1.2 mils dry-film coating thickness that meets or exceeds the performance requirements of AAMA 2605, “Voluntary Specification, Performance Requirements and Test Procedures for Superior Performance Organic Coatings on Aluminum Extrusions and Panels.”3-COAT FLUOROPOLYMER: Sun controls shall be cleaned, pretreated and Finished-after-assembly with an inhibitive primer and oven-cured Kynar 500®/Hylar 5000® resin coating with minimum 2.0 mils dry-filmcoating thickness that meets or exceeds the performance requirements of AAMA 2605, “Voluntary Specification, Performance Requirements and Test Procedures for Superior Performance Organic Coatings on Aluminum Extrusions and Panels.”
